Elham Peyman

11665556_10152886507715474_6236208802527282514_nElham Peyman was born of German and Iranian parents in Berlin, 1966. She started playing the piano at the age of 6 and was accepted at the “Berliner Konservatorium” when she was 9 years old. At the age of 12 she started to compose her first pieces.

 

After finishing high school she was admitted to the “Hochschule der Künste Berlin” and completed her studies in 1988 as a solo-pianist. While at university, she studied with Laszlo Simon. She also participated in several master courses held by Gjorgi Seboek.

 

Elham Peyman has given concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Slovenia and Albania.

In July 1991 she moved to Albania with her husband in order to help establish the Bahá’í community, and they continue to live there to the present day. The music on these CDs were composed and recorded by Elham Peyman between 2002 and 2013.
